This is not a place for the expected: we are a kunsthalle, a cabinet of curiosities, a collection of the rare, repulsive, delicious, old, new, high, low, good and bad that serves as a barometer of contemporary culture. We encourage the simultaneous occupation of the city, the marketplace and the mind by presenting work that mines the fringes of society and exposes our unique behaviors through the lens of the most fundamental human activity: sex. This is more than a museum: We are an institution that believes in embracing society and existing beyond its walls. We promote organic growth and foster an entrepreneurial spirit that values original ideas. To do this, we seek the engagement and collaboration of fearless visionaries from all industries who challenge, stimulate and disrupt the status quo. Together we develop innovative events, exhibits, products and experiences that bring the best of current scholarship on sex and sexuality to the widest possible audiences.
