With films and television shows like Pretty Woman, Happy Days, Runaway Bride, and Valentine's Day under his belt as a producer, director, and writer over the years, Garry Marshall is no stranger to uplifting, funny, and feel good love stories.
His upcoming directorial effort, New Year's Eve, follows this legendary tradition interweaving a series of romantic, holiday vignettes amidst the backdrop of beautiful New York City on New Year's Eve. The film, opening in theaters on December 9th, celebrates themes of love, loss, redemption, and forgiveness through these intricately weaved vignettes brought to life by an all star cast including Halle Berry, Robert DeNiro, Jessica Biel, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Jon Bon Jovi, Ashton Kutcher, Sarah Jessica Parker, Zac Efron, Hilary Swank, Michelle Pfeiffer and more.
Marshall teamed up with the team that made last year's Valentine's Day such a welcome success; screenwriter, Katherine Fugate, and the production team of Mike Karz and Wayne Rice.
New Year's Eve was shot on location entirely in and around the New York City area. The film will have its world premiere on Monday, December 5th, at the world famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
