Description
My grandparents told us that Little Italy was born at the end of the nineteenth century, when massive waves of immigrates arrived in lower manhattan. Soon there were more Italian in New York than in Rome. We brought the customs and cultures of the old country to the new world. Street by street, block by block, Italians cluster around Mulberry Street and soon Little Italy was molded into an amazing place, like no other.
Today, the third generation of Casa Bella Restaurant still practice the same traditions. You know you've arrived in Little Italy by the aromas of peppers and Italian sausages sizzling in the frying pans or a spicy tomato sauce simmering in the casseroles. The aromas are everywhere and they are delightful.
The decor will transplant you to a mediterranean land with soft lighting and music that greets you at our door. Wall Street workers, "goodfellas” and locals gather around our inviting bar with our warm and friendly staff.
Our pasta, risotto, pizza, specials of the day, pastries and wines are delicious! You can chose from a variety of fresh seafood, lobster any style, Linguine Vongole, Calamari Fritti and more. Try our chef's signature Roast Rack of Lamb, Black Angus Steak or Stuffed Veal Chop Valdostana. We also offer an excellent variety of fresh vegetarian dishes and gluten-free pastas.
So come join us, and when weather is permitting you can sit outdoor on our patio and enjoy a colorful view of Mulberry Street.
