With an in-depth global curriculum, dedicated Chef Instructors a strong record in job placements and a clear entrepreneurial focus, ICE is widely recognized by top industry organizations as a premier pathway to begin or continue a culinary career.
ICE also instructs more than 26,000 students each year in hands-on recreational cooking, baking and wine education, in addition to hosting hundreds of corporate and private cooking events.
In January 2015—marking the school's 40th anniversary—ICE will move to Lower Manhattan's most exciting new center for business, retail and dining: Brookfield Place (225 Liberty Street). Our new 74,000 square foot home on the Hudson will encourage both creativity and community, offering students thirteen brand new professional kitchens and such specialized features as an indoor hydroponic garden and an artisanal chocolate studio. The facility will also include expanded social and study spaces, as well as access to a five-acre waterfront park, plaza and marina. With both exceptional architecture and endless educational opportunities, our new facility is designed to be one of the world's most inspiring urban culinary centers.
