New York Public Library and Bryant Park is a conjunction of the New York Public Library Main Branch and the adjacent Bryant Park.HistoryAfter serving as a battle ground during the Revolutionary War and a burial site when Washington Square was overrun by victims of yellow fever, it became the site of the Croton Distributing Reservoir.National Register ReferenceThis conjunction was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1966.
