Urban Hawks and other wildlife in Central Park, Riverside Park, Manhattan and NYC. Includes information about Red-tail Hawks, Peregrine Falcons, American Kestrels, and Eastern Screech-Owls, in addition to photographs of over 150 bird species.
In Manhattan, this includes information about six nesting Red-tail Hawks pairs: Pale Male and Lola in Central Park, Junior and Charlotte at 888 Seventh Avenue, the Red-tailed Hawk nest on the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, the Riverside Park nest and two tree nests in Inwood Hill Park and Highbridge Park. In Queens, it includes news of nests in Briarwood, Astoria Park, and on the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Park. In Brooklyn, Green-Wood and Prospect Park.
