I stayed at Park Avenue House for a few months while transitioning to a new job. One thing I appreciated was not having to deal with finding roommates since Outpost took care of all the background checks. The room was small, which is typical for NYC, but manageable. Overall, not a bad experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Cons: My main concern was that the common areas could get crowded at times, and responses from customer service regarding maintenance were slower than I anticipated.

I picked The Heritage House for its proximity to Central Park, and it did not disappoint. The park’s Conservatory Garden became my favorite spot to unwind. Having a furnished space made life so much easier.

Pros: a lot of locations throughout the city
