It's the 100th anniversary of the Middle Way meditation technique.

The Middle Way Meditation Institute (MMI) is conducting an inner peace meditation event known as, the Global Light of Peace 2017. This event will be conducted simultaneously in 6 continents to celebrate World Peace on the morning of Tuesday, September 5:

The 6 locations are:

1) New York City for North America
2) Rio De Janeiro, Brazil for South America
3) Barcelona, Spain for Europe
4) Maputo, Mozambique for Africa
5) Sydney, Australia for Oceania
6) Iloilo, Philippines for Asia

In the USA, the event will take place at the Riverside Church, New York City from 07 – 10:00 am. You can also join this event online through Facebook! The highlight is a 30-minute online guided meditation session starting at 8am (EST). Our goal is to connect one million people from 6 continents to meditate simultaneously for world peace.

This is an interfaith event since the practice of the Middle Way meditation transcends religious affiliation; and the benefits available to all regardless of nationality and religious background.
